This is a common question that most of the providers ask. Many of Group Owners are reluctant to know that if the provider has terminated his/her services to the group than, how they’ll get the reimbursements for the patients?
You need to keep in mind that, every individual provider within the group act like Individual Provider (Rendering Provider), while his/her role is limited to only providing services to the patients. A Group acts like a Billing Provider in most of the cases and whatever the reimbursements comes from the insurance payers, falls under the Group.
